Celebrity Chef Robert
Irvine seen here as MC at his Gourmet Food & Cooking Festival in
Atlantic City NJ Fall 2005 Ergo Chef displayed there cutlery at
this show while educating the consumer on knife care & skills as
well as introducing the ergonomic Pro-Series cutlery line to New
Jersey. We enjoyed the stage presence of Chef Robert Irvine and
his guests as they displayed there talent for cooking and
capturing the 10,000 plus audience. Ergo Chef’s booth had the
energy of Chef Andrew Selz performing knife demonstrations as
well as the comical Celebrity Chef Guy Mitchell from the
Temperance House in Philadelphia, PA. who says the Ergo Chef
Pro-Series line of cutlery is fantastic!

A
graduate and former instructor at The Culinary Institute
of America, Chef Selz is the founder of Chef Selz Inc.,
a dynamic company that encompasses his public speaking
and presentation skills with his love and appreciation
of cuisine. His aptitude in research and development
with global organizations inspired a division of his
company; The Chef Collection, a premier specialty
gourmet product line.
Chef Selz and his expertise, have
allowed him to serve as personal chef to President
Clinton and family at their vacation retreats for two
years and to continue to serve as a food preparation and
presentation consultant for the United States Navy.
TV: His passion led him to create,
executive co-produce, and host one of the Food Network’s
much enjoyed shows, “Navy Chef Challenge.” This in
conjunction with his numerous public appearances on ABC,
NBC, CBS, PBS, and National Network Programs, Chef Selz
is a favorite trend setting chef.
Magazine: Currently the executive Chef
de Cuizine for Fervor magazine, his contributions have
appeared in many publications including; Rolling Pin,
Food Arts, and Chef Magazine.

Ergo Chef’s revolutionary ergonomic design
breakthrough in cutlery receives outstanding reviews from the Art
Institute of New York. In a recent kitchen test involving 200
students and 14 instructors the revolutionary comfort design of the
Pro-Series patented 8” chef knife & the 9” Pro-Series offset bread
knife received extremely high scores. The students and instructors
raved about their sharpness, great design, visual appeal, and
comfort. From the test panel most students preferred the 8” chef
knife over the competition and all the students wanted the bread
knife in there knife kit. A perfect score from every student would
be 100. The chef knife received an 88 and the bread knife a 94. The
3.5” paring knife and 5.5” boning also received above average scores
with an 88 on the paring knife and 80 on the boning knife. The
Pro-Series 9” carving knife received a good review only because the
students all use a 12” carving knife with hollow ground edges.
Our Pro-Series 7pc. block set includes the 5
knives tested and a 10”diamond sharpening steel in an elegant wood
block for home kitchens. Ergo Chef has
